Today is March 18, 2019; the
Join the CSOA team, “The Wanderers,” on Sunday June 10 from 8 am to 1 pm for a nature hike to benefit the Mississippi Valley Conservancy. We will be a spirited, semi-sprightly Synagogue team walking, exploring, and supporting some of the unique trails protected by the Mississippi Valley Conservancy. In our Jewish religious tradition we share common goals with the MVC of conserving and protecting our priceless and enduring bluffs, farm fields, prairies and streams.
The name of our team is: “The Wanderers.” Registration is due by June 1. The basic fee of $15/person will cover costs (which will include food, a bandana and a pin from Al Louis’s Designing Jewelers) and anything over that is helpful to the cause, but not mandatory.
Please indicate your interest below, and I’ll get back to you with sign up details. Bob is Team Captain, and we have three Wanderers so far!
Each team will get three easy- to moderate-level trails to walk that morning throughout the County, from 30 possible combinations, including the New Amsterdam Grasslands, Holland Sand Prairie, and Greens Coulee Savannah Oak Park. You’ll be as fascinated as I was with your new discoveries! It’s not a race, and any pace will do.

Hope you’ll join! Questions, etc. please let me know.
