Contact the synagogue office for further membership information:
- Any legal adult of the Jewish faith, 21 years or over and of good character, shall be eligible for membership (Constitution, Article 3)
- A full membership requires a minimum contribution of $1250.00. Membership dues may be paid monthly, quarterly, semiannually, or annually. (A specific schedule of payments is agreed upon by the finance committee and the member).
- New members are also required to contribute $100.00 toward the synagogue building fund. The $100.00 may be paid all at once or in quarterly installments payable in the first year.
- New members are required to pay the annual membership to the United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism (USCJ). It is currently $78.00.
Please note:
A full membership is a VOTING membership**. A member is entitled to religious school education for their children, continuing adult education, use of Social Hall for special occasions (i.e. Bar/Bat Mitzvah), and a personal copy of the synagogue constitution, if so desired. Where there is a financial hardship, appropriate arrangements should be made with the finance committee. Anything less than full minimum membership is a nonvoting contribution.
**A voting membership confers the privilege of voting on all synagogue matters requiring the participation of voting members, as determined by the constitution, as well as the privilege of running for a seat on the Board of Trustees.
