For those of you who are new to the Jewish community of La Crosse, I will briefly explain the Passover service we provide. A Passover Order form is located at this link. After you complete it, you may mail it or email it back to Keren. It is then compiled, the merchandise ordered and received and packaged for your pick-up.
This project is one of the JWL’s fundraisers. We obtain the products at wholesale cost and charge all participants retail prices that are competitive with the grocery stores. Please note that many of the items we bring in are not available in local stores.
We are no longer sending the Passover List by mail to save on expenses. Instead, it will be sent only by email via Excel Format. If you have Excel installed on your computer, save the List, make your notations by items desired and email it back to Keren. If you are having difficulty, contact Keren.
The owner of Postville’s Kosherland Community Market will again be supplying the groceries, meat, and poultry. I’m confident that he will do a wonderful job for us as he did last year. I will attempt to get the same wines as last year and will sub where necessary depending on their availability and price.
Completed orders need to be returned by March 6th for processing as I need to place the meat and dairy orders 3 weeks ahead. Pickup is scheduled for Sunday, April 2nd from 10-12 noon. If you are unable to pick up on this date, please call Laurie Arndt to make other arrangements.
Laurie Arndt will again be putting up the orders this year as I do not plan to be home until just before Passover. If you have any questions, please contact her and please be sure to give her and her family a huge thank you for helping make this project a success.
